CONDITIONS OF HIRE - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
APRIL COTTAGE is hired on a weekly basis as holiday accommodation only and at the termination of hire must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
UNAVAILABILITY -The Owners of April Cottage are relieved of all liability should the accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond there control and the deposit will be refunded to the Hirer in full in the event of the accommodation not being available.
DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION - A non-refundable deposit is due for payment at the time of booking being 30% of the total hire charge. If a cancellation is made at least 8 weeks before the start date of the booking then no further payment is due. If however a cancellation is made within 8 weeks from the start of the booking then regrettably no refund for the booking can be made.
BALANCE OF HIRE - The balance of Hire Charge is due and payable to the Owners at the address given on the Booking Form at least 8 weeks before the first date of hire. If the booking is made within 8 weeks of the start date the full Hire Charge will be due when the booking is made. If, after several reminders, the balance due remains outstanding after the 8 week deadline, the Owners reserve the right to remarket the cottage for that week.
LIABILITY - it is the express condition of the accommodation that the Owners of April Cottage shall not be liable to any person (including any person under 21 years) occupying or using April Cottage for any personal injury loss or damage to property however caused or sustained, Not withstanding that such injury loss or damage may be Caused by the negligence, wilful act or omission or default of the Owners of April Cottage or any one of their respective employees, agents, invitees or licensees.
ACCOMMODATION - April Cottage shall not be used for sleeping more persons than the number stated in the Hire Brochure or stated on the Booking Form.
DAMAGE - Any damage to or defect to the Ownerss Property or premises must be immediately reported to the Owners.
DOGS - One dog may be taken to April Cottage with the Owners’ permission for an additional charge of £30 / week. A basket should be taken, as pets are not allowed on the bedding or chairs. Dogs MUST be kept under control and no nuisance may be caused to occupiers of neighbouring properties. Any fouling of the property or footpaths MUST be immediately cleared.
KEYS- The keys of April Cottage will be sent to you by post the week before your holiday. They will be sent in a reusable envelope, with a return label enclosed. At the end of your holiday April Cottage must be locked securely and the keys returned by post, in the envelope provided.
TAKEOVER TIMES - April Cottage is available AFTER 2 p.m. on the first day of hire and must be vacated BEFORE 10 a.m. on the last day of hire.
The Owners OF April Cottage CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR VALUABLES
RUBBISH AND WASTE - All domestic refuse must be placed in the Wheelie Bins provided including cardboard boxes. Please put recyclable material in the green wheelie bin. Only items in wheelie bins will be removed by the refuse collector. No litter may be left on or around the cottage as this can cause a Fire Hazard.
